According to the training objectives, the Bachelor Degree Program is for four disciplines: accounting (certified public accountant and international accounting), financial management, valuation, and auditing. The following takes accounting as an example to describe the curriculum content.
The training objectives of the Bachelor Degree Program of accounting are to train innovative, applied, and international high-quality talent people who have an international vision, cross-cultural communication skills, new technology application ability and practical ability, master modern economic management theory and methods, and can cope with and solve the impacts and challenges brought by the Internet, artificial intelligence, and big data environment on financial management. The basic length of schooling is 4 years, and the flexible length of schooling is 3-6 years.
The discipline-based courses are those that can lay a foundation for the learning of core professional courses in this program. The accounting discipline’s basic courses include microeconomics, macroeconomics, statistics, management, marketing, Chinese taxation, finance, and other courses, which enable students to master a broad range of basic theories, expand their scope of knowledge, and lay a foundation for the learning of professional courses. The required disciplinary basic courses must have 18 credits.
The setting of specialized compulsory courses fully reflects the characteristics of the program. Accounting (CPA direction) is based on the unified national examination subjects for CPA in China, which increases the refinement of specialized accounting courses and sets up specialized compulsory courses such as basic accounting, cost and management accounting, financial management, intelligent accounting information system, big data and intelligent finance, accounting professional ethics, etc., with 30 credits required.
The specialized optional courses comprise five modules, namely “professional knowledge expansion module”, “industry-education integration module”, “science and education integration module”, “digital intelligence empowerment module”, and “specialized optional course module”, with a total of 59 courses. At least 26 credits are required.
